It’s a big apartment (65 sq.m.) with 2 decent sized bedrooms, lots of closet... read more space, 2 bathrooms and nicely generously equipped kitchen. It’s a 10 minute walk to a good grocery store and a 15 minute walk in the other direction to a convenience store in Italy . The Menton Garavan train station is less than 5 minutes away and you can catch several buses 2 minutes from the front door. The bus system is efficient, inexpensive and you can easily visit the region - hilltop villages, Monaco to mention a few without needing a car. We stayed for a month in Nov.-Dec and we had no difficulty keeping cozy with the modern heat pumps/ac. It was a pleasant 20 minute walk along the promenade to the old town which we never tired of visiting. Our hosts were responsive, we were greeted warmly and they made us feel at home. We were sad to leave. If our travels take us back we hope to stay there again. Highly recommended!

  The apartment is located in a good neighbor in the Garavan section of Menton. The building is modern, well-maintained and secure. The well-lit parking garage is... read more located in the basement and is accessible by elevator.
As others have written, the apartment was impeccably clean, well furnished with quality linens, comfortable bed, and spectacular views to the sea and to the mountains. The kitchen appliances were modern, practical, and in good working order. The TV had all the national French channels. There is a bakery a few minutes away, towards Italy (L'amie du Pain), and a grocery store (U Express) a 10 minute walk towards Menton. Downtown is a 15/20-minute walk, and the Garavan Train Station is nearby. Our hosts, Marco and Ludi were responsive, friendly, understanding, and professional.
We would recommend this apartment highly.

  I am comfortable in saying that this stay and Marco’s professionalism made for the best AirBnB experience I’ve ever had.

The place was perfectly renovated. Clean, prepared and... read more ready to live in. It’s also directly on the beachfront. The only thing not perfect is a bit of street noise from cars and mostly motorbikes.

But the view more than makes up for it and we spent great times on the balcony!

It was also the best equipped place I’ve ever been in; every kitchen utensil one needs, towels, soaps, washing liquid, dish tablets, sugar, cooking oils, coffee capsules, etc. The place was livable from the first minute as it was prepared very thoughtfully. While other places do have some items, I don’t recall any being so thoughtfully prepared.

Regarding Marco, he was amazingly friendly, responsive, flexible and hospitable. Almost like it was his mission to make our holiday great. I would gladly stay any place he manages.
